AI Vocal Remover and Stem Splitter

Separate any song you made or own into six parts: vocals, drums, bass, guitar, piano and everything else. Take the acapella, build an instrumental for karaoke, or bring the parts into your editor.

Stem separation pulls a finished mix apart into its instruments. Singers use it to get a karaoke track, DJs and producers to get an acapella for a remix, musicians to practise against the band with their own part taken out, and video creators to get a clean vocal. Autunes Stems splits a song into six standard parts in one go.

It works on songs you make on Autunes and on recordings you upload, which makes it useful for your own band's mixes, a singer's old demos or a track you have the rights to rework.

Why creators choose Autunes

Vocals, drums, bass, guitar, piano and other, each downloaded as its own 256 kbps MP3.

Fast

A four-minute song usually separates in about a minute; the sidebar tells you when it is done.

Works on uploads

MP3, WAV, FLAC, M4A or OGG, up to 50 MB and 10 minutes, as long as you own the audio or have the rights to it.

5 credits, refunded on failure

One separation per song costs 5 credits on Pro and Creator. If it fails, the credits come back.

How to separate a song into stems

Making a karaoke track or an instrumental

Removing the vocal gives you five instrument stems. Drop all five into any free audio editor or phone app and export them together, and you have the instrumental. Keep the vocal stem alone and you have the acapella. Leave out only the guitar or the piano and you have a practice track for that instrument.

For singing along with the words on screen, Autunes Lyric Video has a Karaoke style that times each line to the song, and the Karaoke section scores you as you sing over Autunes songs.

What separation can and cannot do

AI separation is very good on clean modern mixes and less perfect on old, noisy or heavily reverberant recordings, where a little of one instrument can bleed into another. Songs made with the fast engine can also come out rough; songs made on XL separate most cleanly.

Separation does not change who owns the song. Splitting a film song for practice at home is one thing; publishing its karaoke track or acapella needs the rights holder's permission. That is why uploads ask you to confirm your rights.

Frequently asked questions

Pay once, the song is yours — 0% royalties.

Buy Pro or Creator and every song in your account is yours; or own a single song for ₹9 in India or US$1.79 abroad, where it also gives back the credits the song cost to make (10, or 15 for Zori5.5 XL), so your next song is free. Use it commercially anywhere, release it on Spotify, Apple Music and JioSaavn, and keep everything it earns — Autunes takes no royalty. Every song comes with a creation certificate. How ownership works

Can I remove the vocals from a song?

Yes. Stems gives you the vocal on its own and the instruments as five separate stems. Combine the five instrument stems for a vocal-free track.

Which stems do I get?

Six: vocals, drums, bass, guitar, piano and other. Instrumentals have no vocal stem.

Does it work on songs not made on Autunes?

Yes. Upload the track in Studio (MP3, WAV, FLAC, M4A or OGG, up to 50 MB and 10 minutes) and confirm you have the rights to it.

How much does it cost?

5 credits per song on Pro (₹599 a month, 300 credits) or Creator (₹2,999 a month, 1,600 credits). Stems are not on the free plan.

Can I separate the same song twice?

No need: once a song is separated, its stems stay available to download.
