AI Song Genre Changer
Turn your song into lofi, EDM, an unplugged version or a bhangra remix. Describe the new sound, choose how far it can move from the original, and get a new track that keeps your words.
A song that works as a pop track can work just as well as a slow lofi version for late nights, a dhol-heavy remix for a wedding or a stripped acoustic take for a reel. Remix re-records the music around your song in the style you describe, and keeps the words.
One slider decides how brave it gets. Towards "Stay close" the melody and words hold and only the sound changes; towards "New take" it is free to reinterpret the song. A short hint under the slider tells you what to expect at each setting.
Why creators choose Autunes
Any genre you can describe
Lofi with vinyl crackle, Bollywood dance, Punjabi bhangra, EDM, rock, jazz, unplugged acoustic, orchestral: write the style in your own words.
Keep the words or change them
Leave the lyrics box empty to keep the original words, or paste new lyrics for the remix to sing.
Control how close it stays
A slider from "New take" to "Stay close". The default keeps the melody and words and changes the sound.
A new track, original untouched
The remix arrives in your library as "Remix of <song>" in the same sung language. Your original stays exactly as it was.
How to change the genre of a song
- Open the song in Studio and choose Remix, or pick Remix from the song's menu.
- Describe the new style, for example "slow lofi, soft keys, vinyl crackle, 75 bpm".
- Set the slider, or use the Remix (creative) or Cover (same melody) preset.
- Optionally paste new lyrics.
- Press Remix this song. The new track lands in Your Tracks in a few minutes.
Which songs you can remix
You can remix songs you made on Autunes, songs published on Autunes, and your own uploads. You can bring your own recording: Studio → Upload a track takes MP3, WAV, FLAC, M4A or OGG up to 50 MB and 10 minutes. You tick a box confirming you own the audio or have the rights to change it, and the upload becomes a normal track in your library.
Remixing a film or label song you do not own is a different matter. You need the rights holder's permission to change and publish someone else's recording, and that is why we ask you to confirm your rights on every upload.
Remix, cover or variation?
Remix changes the genre and sound and may move the melody. A cover keeps the melody and words and restyles the performance; it is the Cover preset of the same tool. A variation is a fresh take of the same song in the same style, useful when you like the song but want another performance.
Frequently asked questions
Pay once, the song is yours — 0% royalties.
Buy Pro or Creator and every song in your account is yours; or own a single song for ₹9 in India or US$1.79 abroad, where it also gives back the credits the song cost to make (10, or 15 for Zori5.5 XL), so your next song is free. Use it commercially anywhere, release it on Spotify, Apple Music and JioSaavn, and keep everything it earns — Autunes takes no royalty. Every song comes with a creation certificate. How ownership works
Can AI change the genre of a song?
Yes. Describe the new genre and Autunes re-records the music in that style, keeping the original words unless you paste new ones.
Can I turn my song into lofi?
Yes. Describe something like "slow lofi, mellow piano, vinyl crackle" and set the slider towards Stay close so the melody and words survive.
Which plan do I need?
Remix is a Pro and Creator tool and uses credits from your plan balance. Free accounts can make songs and one variation, but not remixes.
Can I remix a Bollywood song from YouTube?
Only if you own it or have the rights holder's permission. Remix works on songs you made on Autunes and on recordings you have the rights to.
