Audio Stories for Kids in Hindi
A bedtime story in Hindi, about Krishna, Ganesha, a clever crow or your own child, narrated over soft music. Screen-free, made in a few minutes, and your first one is free.
Every child asks for "ek kahani aur". Story apps have a fixed shelf, and the same twenty stories wear out fast. AudPod makes a new one whenever you want: describe the story and your child's age, choose Hindi or another language, a narrator and a soft music mood, and a narrated story is ready in a few minutes.
Because you write the idea, the story can be about anything: Bal Krishna and the butter pot, why Ganesha has an elephant's head, a Panchatantra fable, or your daughter's first day at school with her name in it. It is audio only, so it works at bedtime with the lights off and on long drives without a screen.

Why audio stories are good for children
The World Health Organization advises no screen time for children under two and no more than an hour a day for ages two to four, and encourages reading and storytelling with a caregiver instead. A narrated story keeps the story and drops the screen. Brain-imaging research on preschoolers has found that listening to stories without pictures activates the areas linked to language and mental imagery, which is a fancy way of saying the child is building the pictures in their head.
A story at the same time every night is also part of a bedtime routine, which sleep research links to children falling asleep faster and sleeping better. We go deeper into the research, and into why mythology stories in particular matter, in our article on the benefits of audio stories for children.
Stories that carry values
Indian families have always used stories to teach: the Panchatantra was told to young princes to teach them good judgement, the Jataka tales teach kindness through the Buddha's earlier lives, and the Ramayana and the stories of Krishna and Ganesha carry ideas of duty, courage, cleverness and devotion that children meet again at every festival. An AudPod can tell those stories in your family's language, at your child's level.
