When we launched Karaoke, the simplest thing would have been to put it inside Pro and call it a new perk. We chose not to, and since people ask why, here is the reasoning in full.
Singing has its own running cost
Making a song on Autunes is paid for with credits: you spend them, a model renders your track, done. Karaoke works differently. Before you can sing a song for the first time, it has to be prepared: a separation model runs on a GPU to split the original singer from the music, so you get a clean backing track and a quiet guide vocal you can follow. After you sing, an AI coach reads your take line by line and writes the report and the tips.
Neither of those steps uses your song credits, and neither depends on whether you make songs at all. A person who sings twenty different songs a month and never makes one costs more to serve than a person who makes songs and never sings. A single price for both would be unfair to one of them.
Different people, different needs
Many people who make songs on Autunes never sing along; they want a track for a video, a gift or a festival. Many people who want to practise singing have no interest in making songs. Bundling Karaoke into Pro would have meant raising the price of Pro for the first group, and forcing the second group to buy a ₹599 song-making plan to practise singing.
Keeping them apart lets each person pay for what they use.
What you get without paying anything
Karaoke is not locked behind a payment. Every plan, including Free, can sing 4 different songs every calendar month and sing those songs again as often as they like. On the free plan you see your score, your line scores, a short summary and your biggest weak spot, with a week of history.
Pro and Creator add the full AI coach report, a specific tip for every weak line, unlimited plays of the original vocal and your full history. The only thing a paid song plan does not change is the number of different songs you can sing each month.

Who should buy the pass
If 4 songs a month is enough for you, do not buy anything. If you practise every day, sing with friends, or want to work through a whole set of songs, the pass is the right fit. It is a one-time payment for 30 days and never renews on its own. You can buy it alone from the pricing page, or tick it as an add-on when you buy Pro or Creator; it is never added for you.
