Credits are how Autunes counts the work each generation takes. A full song costs 10 credits on Zori5 Turbo or 15 on Zori5.5 XL, and smaller jobs like a line fix or a short reel clip cost less. Sooner or later most people see the balance hit zero, usually right in the middle of a project. Here is exactly what happens and the cheapest way forward for each kind of user.
What stays safe
Running out never deletes or locks anything. Every song in your library stays playable. Songs you have already downloaded are yours as files. Anything you licensed for commercial use stays licensed. Playlists, lyrics and your settings are untouched.
The only thing that stops is new paid work: new songs, variations, section edits, stems, layers and the other tools that cost credits. Some things never used song credits to begin with, such as Karaoke, which has its own monthly allowance of 4 songs on every plan.
If you are on the Free plan
Free accounts get 15 credits once, on signup. There is no daily refill on Free, so when those are gone you choose how to continue.
- Custom top-up: pick any amount from 5 to 500 credits at about ₹2 a credit. 5 credits cost ₹9, 15 cost ₹29, 50 cost ₹99.
- Fixed pack: 100 credits for ₹199, on any plan.
- Pro pass: ₹599 for 30 days with 300 credits and the paid features.
- Creator pass: ₹2,999 for 30 days with 1,600 credits.
Why ₹99 is a useful number
Free-plan songs normally need a ₹9 licence each before you can download them. But anyone who pays ₹99 or more in a single purchase downloads every song they make after that payment for free. So a 50-credit top-up for ₹99 gets you five more Zori5 Turbo songs and also removes the per-song download fee for everything you make afterwards.
Songs made before that payment, such as your first free song, still need their own ₹9 licence if you want the file. Buy the top-up first, then make the songs you plan to download.
If you are on Pro or Creator
Paid plans have a safety net. Once your balance drops below 20 credits, it is brought back up to 20 at the start of each new day for as long as your pass runs. That covers one Zori5 Turbo song (10 credits) or one Zori5.5 XL song (15 credits) a day, so a deadline does not have to stop completely.
For more than that, top up as above. Top-up credits never expire and work on any plan. On a yearly pass, your next 300 or 1,600 plan credits also arrive 30 days after the last batch, so it can be worth checking how close that date is before topping up.
Worked examples
A student makes one song with the signup credits and wants two more for a college fest. A 30-credit top-up costs ₹59 and covers three Turbo songs. But for ₹40 more, the 50-credit top-up at ₹99 covers five songs and makes all of them free to download, which saves ₹27 in licences on three songs alone. The ₹99 option is the better buy.
A Pro user making devotional songs runs out on day 22 with a Navratri release planned. The daily safety net gives one XL song a day. If they need a batch of six XL songs this week, that is 90 credits: a 100-credit pack at ₹199 covers it with credits left over.
A Creator user with a studio workflow is unlikely to run out often, since 1,600 credits is about 106 XL songs. If they do, the fixed 100-credit pack or a custom top-up does the job.
How to make credits last longer
Most wasted credits come from regenerating whole songs to fix small problems.
- Fix a single wrong line with an edit section for 3 credits instead of remaking the song for 10 or 15.
- Try a variation for 5 credits when you like the song but want a different take.
- Draft ideas on Zori5 Turbo, then use Zori5.5 XL for the version you will keep.
- On Pro and Creator, choose the number of takes per generation deliberately. Each take is paid for, so two XL takes cost 30 credits.
- Make short reel music at the length you need: 15, 30 or 60 seconds cost 2, 3 or 5 credits, depending on the template.
- Spend time on lyrics and section tags like [Verse] and [Chorus] before you press create.
When a top-up is better than a plan, and the reverse
Per credit, a top-up and Pro cost about the same, roughly ₹2. The difference is what comes with them. A top-up is just credits: you stay on your current plan, so on Free you keep Free's limits. Pro adds Zori5.5 XL on any prompt, stems, edit sections, remix, full lyric videos and downloads of any song. If you need those tools, Pro is the better ₹599. If you only need a couple more songs on the Free plan, a top-up costs less.
Creator works out cheaper per credit, about ₹1.87, but only if you will actually use most of the 1,600 credits in 30 days.
Mistakes to avoid
A few small habits cost people money when their balance runs low.
- Buying several ₹9 licences one by one when a single ₹99 purchase would unlock free downloads for later songs.
- Topping up on a paid plan the day before the daily safety net would have covered one more song.
- Assuming a failed generation ate your credits. If a generation fails, the credits are returned.
- Topping up abroad in tiny amounts. Outside India the smallest custom top-up is 80 credits because of payment limits on international cards.
