Most AI music tools use a credit system instead of charging per second of audio. Understanding it helps you plan.
How Autunes credits work
You begin with 25 credits and receive 20 free credits every day, so casual use can be entirely free. Each generation spends credits; if a generation fails, you are typically not charged. Paid plans top up your balance for heavier use.
- 25 starting credits.
- 20 free credits daily.
- Failed generations usually free.
- Paid plans add more.
What consumes a credit, and what does not
A credit is spent when audio is generated, which means every take counts — including the ones you discard. That is worth knowing because iterating on a hook by regenerating it five times costs five times as much as getting it right once.
Longer songs and higher-fidelity models cost more than short songs on the faster model, since both are genuinely more work. Editing text, browsing, and downloading a track you already made do not cost anything.

- Downloads and re-downloads are free.
