What the 15 signup credits buy
The 15 credits arrive once, when you create your account. They do not refill each day. A full song costs 10 credits on Zori5 Turbo and 15 on Zori5.5 XL, so the balance is designed for one complete song with vocals, instruments and mixing, up to 3 minutes long.
Free users get Zori5.5 XL when they paste their own lyrics. So you have two sensible ways to spend the balance.
- Write or paste your own lyrics and make one song on Zori5.5 XL for all 15 credits.
- Describe an idea, let the lyrics be written for you, and make one Zori5 Turbo song for 10 credits. The remaining 5 can pay for one variation or a 60-second reel clip.
Free things that do not need credits
Beyond the signup balance, several features are free on the Free plan.
- Your first AudPod, a narrated story, katha or podcast over background music up to 5 minutes, is free.
- Karaoke: sing along to 4 different Autunes songs every month with live pitch and a score on every line, and repeat those as often as you like.
- Lyric videos: a 30-second preview of any of the 12 styles is free; the full video with the song is ₹19.
- Listening to and sharing the songs you make on Autunes.
The limits of the Free plan
The Free plan is honest about its catch. Songs made on Free are for personal use, and they are published publicly on Autunes by default, while paid plans keep songs private by default. To download a Free-plan song you buy its licence: ₹9 in India, US$1.79 or €1.59 elsewhere. That gives you the file and a commercial licence for that song, forever.
There is one shortcut: anyone who pays ₹99 or more in one purchase downloads every song they make after that payment for free. Paid features such as stems, edit sections, remix and cover, and Zori5.5 XL on described prompts stay on Pro and Creator.
How to get the most from your one free song
Because you get one shot, a little preparation makes the free song a fair test.
- Pick a real use: a birthday song with a name in it, a short bhajan, a Punjabi song for a reel. You will judge the result better.
- Write your own lyrics, even simple ones, so the song renders on Zori5.5 XL.
- Use section tags like [Verse], [Chorus] and [Bridge] so the structure comes out the way you imagine.
- Choose the language and genre clearly, for example Marathi lavani or Tamil melody, rather than a vague style.
- After it renders, check the lyric check. Every vocal is transcribed and compared with your lyrics, and lines that came out wrong are flagged.
- Listen on earphones before deciding whether to pay ₹9 for the file.
Pro's refund window works like a second trial
If one free song convinces you but you want to test the paid tools properly, Pro costs ₹599 for 30 days. The refund policy gives a full refund if you ask within 7 days of your first paid-pass payment and have used 20 credits or fewer. One Zori5.5 XL song costs 15, so you can hear exactly what the paid engine does on any prompt and still be inside the limit.
Be clear about what this is: you pay first and ask for the refund by email, and once you have used more than 20 credits a refund becomes partial or none. Pro also never renews on its own, so there is no surprise charge in month two.
A worked example
Anjali wants an anniversary song for her parents in Marathi. She signs up, writes four short verses with their names, tags a verse and a chorus, and makes one Zori5.5 XL song with her 15 credits. She likes it, pays ₹9 to download it, and plays it at the dinner. Total cost: ₹9.
A month later she wants three songs for a cousin's wedding. Instead of three ₹9 licences plus credits, she buys a 50-credit top-up for ₹99, makes three Turbo songs for 30 credits, and downloads all three free because they were made after a ₹99 payment.
When the Free plan is not enough
One song cannot show you everything. If you need to compare several languages, try remix or stems, or make music for client work, the free balance runs out fast. In that case either a small top-up or Pro's refund window is a better test than trying to judge from a single song.
And if you need a specific human singer, a live performance or a composition you will build a career on, no free tier of any AI tool replaces that. Autunes is best when you need a finished, sung song quickly.
