Plenty of tools generate AI music from scratch; far fewer let you bring your own audio and work on it. On Autunes, uploading is a first-class door into the whole toolset — the upload becomes a track in your library, indistinguishable from a generated one as far as the tools are concerned.
Go to Studio, hit Upload a track, pick the file and confirm you have the rights to use it. The file goes straight from your browser to storage — up to 50MB, ten minutes of audio.
Remix vs Cover — two presets, one engine
Open your uploaded track in the editor and pick the Remix tool. Two presets set the intent: Remix reinterprets creatively — new arrangement, new energy, your track as inspiration. Cover stays faithful — same melody and structure, new style, like a band covering the song in their own genre.
A detail most tools get wrong: your vocals survive. If your upload has singing and you do not provide new lyrics, Autunes transcribes what is sung and covers those words, instead of silently returning an instrumental.
Beyond remixing
The same uploaded track can be split into six stems (vocals, drums, bass, guitar, piano, other), trimmed and cut on the waveform, extended with new instrument layers in Layer Studio, or re-sung in a different voice. If you only ever use Autunes to process audio you already have, the editor alone is worth the trip.
