Some moments only exist as one picture: a wedding portrait, a grandparent's old photo, a sunset from a trip, a newborn's first day home. Video to music on Autunes works with a single photo too, so one picture can become a short music video with its own original soundtrack.
The steps
- Open Drops and tap Create Drop.
- Choose "I have a video" and select a JPG, PNG or WebP photo.
- Read the suggested style. The AI describes what the photo feels like (the place, the occasion, the mood) and turns it into one line of music direction.
- Edit the line if you want something different, and choose a vocal hook or an instrumental.
- Create. The music is usually ready in about a minute.
- Post the Drop. Photo Drops play with a slow, gentle zoom so the picture feels alive.
What it costs
Music for a photo is priced like other short-form audio: 2 credits for up to 15 seconds and up to 5 credits for a full minute. Free accounts pay from a separate balance of 10 video credits. Pro and Creator use their normal credits.
Saving the finished photo video to your phone costs ₹19 on the free plan, once per song, and is included on Pro and Creator.
Ideas that work well
- A wedding or engagement photo with a soft shehnai or piano line.
- An old family photo with a warm, nostalgic acoustic track for a parent's birthday.
- A travel picture (mountains, a beach, a city at night) with music in the local style of that place.
- A festival photo (diyas, rangoli, a Durga Puja pandal) with festive percussion.
- A product photo for a small business post, with a short upbeat instrumental.
When to use a song instead
Photo to music makes a short soundtrack, not a full song with your words in it. If you want lyrics about the person in the photo, write or describe them on the Create page to make a full song first. Then come back to Drops, choose "I have a song", and put the photo over it.
