The first generation of AI music tools treated a song as final output: if the bridge dragged or one line came out wrong, you regenerated and gambled. The Autunes editor treats a song as a project. One waveform, one selection, and every tool operates on exactly the passage you selected.
The tools, briefly
Drag on the waveform to select any span — the lyrics strip highlights the lines inside it, and clicking a lyric line selects its span right back. Then pick a tool:
- Cut — remove the selection entirely; the two sides are spliced with a smooth crossfade. Instant, 1 credit, every plan.
- Lyrics — retype the words for the selected passage and the AI re-sings just that span (3 credits), or run one-click Auto-fix pronunciation on the whole song (Pro+, 20 credits).
- Variation — a different take of the selection or the whole song, from subtle to reimagined (5 credits per take).
- Stems — split into vocals, drums, bass, guitar, piano and other (from 5 credits).
- Remix / Cover — re-render the song in a new style, creative or faithful (10 credits, Pro+).
- Voice — re-sing the track in any voice you upload (8 credits, Pro+).
- MIDI/FLAC — export the full track or just the vocal melody as MIDI; download the lossless FLAC master (Creator).
- Layers — take the track into Layer Studio and add instruments one lane at a time (5 credits per layer, Pro+).
Edits are non-destructive
Every edit lands as a new track linked to the original, so you can always A/B against what you started with, and nothing you had is ever overwritten. Uploaded songs get the same treatment — bring any track in through Studio's upload and the full toolset works on it.
