Children ask for the Christmas story again and again in December. A narrated version in their own language, with soft music under the voice, is something a Sunday school teacher can play in class, a parent can play at bedtime, and a family can listen to together on Christmas Eve.
AudPod is the narration tool inside Autunes. It turns an idea or your own script into narrated audio with background music. It speaks; it does not sing.
Step by step
- Open AudPod on Autunes.
- Choose "From an idea" if you want AudPod to write the story, or "My script" to paste your own text or your church's children's Bible.
- Choose the language: Hindi, English, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Marathi, Kannada (male narrator) and more. Malayalam narration is not available yet.
- Choose a Male or Female narrator.
- Choose the mood: Kids story (light and playful), Calm, Peaceful flute, or No music.
- Choose 3 or 5 minutes (any plan), up to 10 on Pro or 20 on Creator, and create. A 3-minute AudPod takes about 4 to 5 minutes to make.
Story ideas, one per AudPod
- "The angel Gabriel visits Mary in Nazareth. Simple Hindi, for children aged 5 to 8."
- "Mary and Joseph travel to Bethlehem and find no room at the inn; Jesus is born in a stable. Gentle, for bedtime."
- "The shepherds in the fields hear the angels sing and go to see the baby. Joyful, for a Sunday school class."
- "The wise men follow the star with gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh. Told with wonder, for children aged 8 to 12."
A note on accuracy
When AudPod writes from an idea, it is a retelling for children, not Scripture. Listen before you play it to a class. If your church uses a particular translation or children's Bible, choose "My script" and paste the text so it is read exactly as written, and check that you may use that translation's text.
Cost and sharing
Your first AudPod, up to 5 minutes, is free. After that a 3 or 5 minute AudPod costs 10 credits on every plan; Pro goes up to 10 minutes (15 credits) and Creator up to 20 minutes (20 credits). On the free plan AudPods are published to Browse → AudPod where anyone can listen; on Pro and Creator they stay private unless you publish them.
