What distributors actually check
Distributors are not scanning for AI and rejecting it. What they reject is material that infringes someone else, is duplicated across accounts, or is uploaded in bulk to game recommendation systems. AI-made music that is original and released normally passes like anything else.
The practical requirements are the ordinary ones: you hold the rights, the metadata is accurate, and the artwork is yours. Where AI releases run into trouble it is almost always volume — hundreds of near-identical tracks uploaded at once look like spam because they behave like spam.
