There are good free Bible story recordings for children, from ministry websites to podcasts and apps. Teachers and parents still often want something specific: the story that matches this Sunday's lesson, at the age of their class, in Spanish or Tagalog for a bilingual group, or read in the words of the lesson they wrote.
AudPod, the narration tool on Autunes, makes that audio in a few minutes, with gentle music under the narrator's voice.
Two ways to use it
- A retelling for children: choose "From an idea" and describe the story and the age group. AudPod writes a simple version and narrates it.
- Your own words or a passage: choose "My script" and paste your lesson, or a passage from the Bible translation your church uses. It is read exactly as written. Check the translation's terms before you share recordings of its text publicly.
Step by step
- Open AudPod.
- Choose "From an idea" or "My script". In "My script", leave a blank line between paragraphs for a pause.
- Choose the language: English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Tagalog, Korean, Indonesian and more, 42 in all.
- Choose a Male or Female narrator.
- Choose the mood: Kids story for younger children, Calm or Peaceful flute for reflection, Epic for a story like David and Goliath.
- Choose 3 or 5 minutes on any plan; Pro goes to 10 and Creator to 20.
- Press create. A 3-minute story takes about 4 to 5 minutes to make.
Story ideas
- "Noah's ark, told simply for children aged 4 to 6, ending with the rainbow."
- "David and Goliath, for a Sunday school class of 8 to 10-year-olds, about courage."
- "The parable of the Good Samaritan for 7-year-olds, ending with a question for the class to discuss."
- "Jonah and the big fish, a gentle bedtime version."
- "La parábola de la oveja perdida, para niños de 5 a 7 años" (with Spanish chosen as the language).
Care points
AudPod is a narration tool, not a teacher of faith. When it writes from your idea, it is a retelling, so listen before class and check it against the Bible and your church's teaching. When the exact wording matters, use "My script". Different churches tell some stories with different emphasis, and you know your class and tradition best.
On the free plan, AudPods are published to Browse → AudPod, where anyone can listen. Leave children's names out of free-plan stories, or use Pro or Creator, where AudPods stay private unless you publish them.
Using it in class
Play it at the start of class to set the scene, send it home so parents can listen with their children during the week, or share it with children who missed the class. Download it first: downloads are free on Pro and Creator and cost ₹9 per AudPod on the free plan.
