Style: A deeply melodic Sanskrit spiritual song, sung in a smooth flowing legato style rather than rhythmic chanting. Warm ethereal female lead vocal with a soft low male harmony appearing only on the final words of each section. Slow tempo around 60 BPM. Every Sanskrit line should be sung as one long connected melodic phrase with sustained vowels, gentle melodic rises and falls, smooth transitions between words, and natural breathing. The vocal must feel lyrical, tender and devotional. Do NOT sing syllable by syllable. Do NOT use clipped, percussive or spoken chanting. Avoid sharp rhythmic accents between Sanskrit words. The melody should flow continuously like a sacred lullaby or meditative prayer. Begin with a long soft Om over tanpura and a warm atmospheric drone. Add gentle bansuri flute, soft strings, subtle singing bowls, delicate temple bells and very light hand percussion only later. The refrain “Om Shantih Shantih Shantih” should be especially beautiful and spacious, with long sustained notes and soft layered harmonies. Gradually build from an intimate solo voice into a luminous celestial atmosphere, then return to almost complete stillness at the end. Sacred, peaceful, tender, mystical, healing, luminous and emotionally moving. No fast tabla. No rhythmic chanting. No syllabic delivery. No Bollywood. No pop beat. No EDM. No aggressive percussion.
