Style: Pure Arabic poetic recitation, mature male voice, intimate one-to-one delivery, as if speaking directly to a woman in the darkness of a quiet room. NO SINGING. NO MELODY IN THE VOICE. This is dramatic Arabic spoken poetry. Extremely clear classical Arabic diction, expressive consonants and vowels, natural breathing, deliberate pauses, subtle changes of volume and emotional color. Begin quietly and regretfully with "آسَفُ", gradually developing into restrained passion, irony and sensual intensity, then becoming increasingly vulnerable and existential. Use almost no music: only occasional isolated piano notes, very soft low cello, subtle room ambience and long stretches of complete silence. Never cover the voice. Allow the poet to pause after powerful images and let certain words hang in the silence. Do not rush the verses. Do not turn the poem into a conventional song. The ending "آسَفُ سَيِّدَتِي..." must feel like the final confession of a man who realizes that time has already left. Very slow, intimate, almost whispered final lines, ending with several seconds of silence. كَمْ قُلْتُ أَمْسِ تَخَلَّيْ عَنِ المَشْيِ فِي الظِّلِّ

لَا تَقِفِي بُرْقُعاً مَائِلَ الشَّكْلِ

مُنْحَنِياً كَانْكِسَارِ الهَوَاءِ

كَمْ قُلْتُ أَمْسِ خُذِي رَاحَةَ المَاءِ

فِي صَفْعِ وَجْهِ التَّرَدُّدِ

أَطْفِئِي شَمْعَةَ الزُّهْدِ

أَشْعِلِي صَهْوَةَ الْوَجْدِ نَاراً

لِإِحْرَاقِ سُوسِ الفَنَاءِ

تَخَلَّيْ لِيَوْمِكِ عَنْ سَاعَةِ الجَيْبِ

لَا تَحْمِلِي هَمَّ جَمْعِ الغُثَاءِ

وَاتْرُكِي حُرْقَةَ الصَّيْفِ تَذْهَبْ

تَغْتَالُ جَمْرَتَهَا فِي جَحِيمِ الشِّتَاءِ

لَنَا فِي دَمِ السِّرِّ مَكْتَبَةٌ

وَمِحْبَرَةٌ لِلْبِنَاءِ

وَأَنْتِ تُرِيدِينَ عَوْدَ الرَّبِيعِ

وَوَرْداً يُمَزِّقُهُ غَيْهَبُ الفَجْرِ

فِي جَوْفِ ذُلِّ المَسَاءِ؟

لَقَدْ مَاتَ فَصْلُ الرَّبِيعِ

وَمَا عَادَ فِي القَلْبِ مِنْ تَرَفِ الوَقْتِ

ثَانِيَةٌ لِلْبُكَاءِ

فَهَيَّا بِنَا نَرْقُصُ الآنَ

مَضَتْ فُرْصَةُ الدَّمْعِ

بِي فَقَطْ

رَغْبَةٌ جَمَّةٌ فِي الغِنَاءِ

كَمْ أَرَدْتُ المُرُورَ إِلَيْكِ عَلَى شَفَةِ الصَّمْتِ

أَقْتَبِسُ الخَوْفَ آنِيَةً

لِاصْطِيَادِ الكَلَامِ

أُحَاوِلُ تَحْرِيرَ نَهْدَيْكِ مِنْ قَفَصِ الذَّنْبِ

كَمْ شِئْتُ جَرَّكِ نَحْوَ اسْمِرَارِ الحَدَائِقِ

لَكِنَّ نَهْدَيْكِ شَاءَا ثُلُوجَ الرُّخَامِ

وَضَلَّا هُنَاكْ...

لَا يَسْمَعَانِ الهدِيلْ

كَقَبْرَيْنِ

لَا يُطِيقَانِ لَحْنَ ارْتِجَافِ الحَمَامِ

أَقْعَيَا فَوْقَ يَأْسِ الرَّصِيفِ

يَتِيمَيْنِ

يَلْتَقِطَانِ مِنَ العَابِرِينَ المُوَاسَاةَ

أَوْ فُرْصَةً لِلسَّلَامِ

يَمُوءَانِ فِي اللَّيْلِ

قِطَّيْنِ يَرْتَعِشَانِ مُلْتَصِقَيْنِ

مِنْ خُنْفُسَاءِ الظَّلَامِ

كَمْ شِئْتِ أَنْ تَنْحَتِينِي قَصِيداً

عَلَى صَخْرَةِ الخِصْرِ

أَنْ تَرْسُمِينِي عَلَى لَوْحَةٍ

قَمَراً سَابِحاً يَزْرَعُ الزَّهْرَ

يَسْقِي ضُلُوعَ الظَّلَامِ

كَمْ كُنْتُ أَحْتَاجُ نَهْدَيْكِ

حِينَ تُصَلِّينَ لِلَّيْلِ

وَحِينَ تَنْوِينَ فِعْلَ الصِّيَامِ

وَحِينَ تَحُجِّينَ لِلصَّمْتِ

كَمْ كُنْتُ أَهْوَى الهُرُوبَ إِلَيْكِ

لِتَعْلِيمِ نَهْدَيْكِ فِعْلَ الحَرَامِ

لَمْ تَفْهَمِي قَبَسَ الشِّعْرِ

لَمْ تَشْعُرِي بِالفَرَاشَاتِ تَحْبُو عَلَيَّ

وَتَسْأَلُنِي عَنْكِ:

هَلْ أَتَتْ كَيْ نُغَنِّي

وَنَبْدَأَ فِي الرَّقْصِ

قَبْلَ انْتِحَارِ الغَمَامِ؟

كَمْ كُنْتِ بَلْهَاءَ

كَمْ كُنْتِ تَحْتَرِمِينَ السَّمَاءْ

فِي الظِّلِّ

فِي جَوْفِ ذَاكَ الزِّحَامِ

آسَفُ سَيِّدَتِي...

سَافَرَ الوَقْتُ قَبْلَ مَجِيءِ القِطَارِ

وَتَذْكِرَةُ الشَّوْقِ بَلَّلَهَا مَلَلُ الِانْتِظَارِ

نَامَتْ عَلَى رُكْبَتِي

لِتَحْلَمَ بِالصَّيْفِ

وَنَهْدَيْنِ إِذْ يَسْبَحَانِ

كَطَيْرَيْنِ

فِي لُجَّةٍ مِنْ حَرِيرِ المَنَامِ
