Still somehow I kept moving on.

They saw the failures, not the fighting,

They saw the fall, not how I rose.

They never knew the battles

I was fighting on my own.

But I’d rather arrive after the struggle

Than never chase my fate.

Every scar became a lesson,

Every loss became a flame.

I stopped waiting for permission—

I started calling out my name.
