What the free tier is actually for
The free tier exists so you can find out whether the model sings your language properly before paying anything. That is the question most people actually have, and it takes two or three generations to answer.
Use those first credits deliberately: try the language you care about, with lyrics you have actually written, rather than a generic English test prompt. A tool that handles English well and your language badly is not useful to you, and a generic test will not reveal that.
